A Statement Of Fact The only people who will venture to say that Mugabe is not responsible for the collapse of his country’s economy is either badly misinformed or heavily biased. The archives of neutral agencies are overflowing with recordings of statements by Mugabe. In most of his statements he has taken a defiant and provoking spiteful stance towards even the most well meant advice. Policies and actions driven by him are well recorded by an international media that normally refuses to see anything wrong with African rulers. Anybody who thinks he is stupid makes a grave mistake. He may look stupid if judged in terms of statesmanship. However, in terms of cunning, ambition, conniving, chicanery, political survival, and self-serving, he is a master. Even though he is well educated, his overwhelming embracing of the Marxist-Leninist doctrine has caused him to interfere with a flourishing free economy.
