Is ricky hatton gonna fight floyd mayweather again?
Yeah it could happen but would be a bad fight for Hatton as he was almost surely lose again. Mayweather wants the big money fights and Hatton and De la Hoya are the two most popular fighters in boxing currently, only Pacquio has a fan following to rival those two but is too small for Maywather. Fights against Cotto or even Shane Mosely would be more interesting, but in terms of making money fights against Hatton and De la Hoya are the big money makers.
As I understand it, Hatton is the one who’s begging for this fight. I’m guessing that he really believes that he knows a thing or two about fighting Floyd which he didn’t know the first time around that he could use to turn the tables on Mayweather. I’m sure most people don’t agree with that-I know I dont-but if the moneys right and they hold the fight in Great Britain, they may make it happen. I’m guessing that most boxing fans would rather see Floyd fight Cotto, or even Shane Mosley. Mosley might be an attractive opponent if he beats Zab Judah decisively.
