Is Rhodiola Rosea a new herb in the market?
Rhodiola Rosea is not new. The medicinal properties of Rhodiola Rosea were first documented in AD77 in De Materia Medica and it earned a place in the Swedish Pharmacopoeia in 1755. Russian athletes and scientists have touted the strong medicinal properties of this rare herb. It is also widely used in current medicinal applications in Europe, Soviet Union and China. In Sweden, Rhodiola rosea was recognized as an Herbal Medicinal Product in 1985 and has been described as an antifatigue agent in the Textbook of Phytomedicine for Pharmacists.
