Is ResNet the same thing as Bear Access or E-Mail?
No. Bear Access is a collection of popular network services and on-line Cornell services assembled into a single package. Bear Access and e-mail are available to students, staff, and faculty whether or not they have ResNet. ResNet provides Internet access, but is not directly tied to any of the services you use with that access. Even if you don’t subscribe to ResNet, you can still use Bear Access and e-mail from a lab or with a modem or from another computer that has access to the Internet.
