Is Renaissance finished?

The Renaissance Framework is fully functional and already supports applications in commercial use handling up to 300 concurrent users. However, this is hopefully just the start. We intend to continually add to the functionality available to improve the type of UI a System i programmer can offer to the users of the applications they write. These improvements will come from demands from our own users and, hopefully, from those of other development organisations who participate/use Renaissance. There is no reason why a System i application cannot have as functionally rich a UI as one written on any other platform – but have the stability of the System i O/S driving it all.
