Is religion the source/media/propaganda of God?
No he is only a tool to central theme. Live in peace and harmony is important in human life. Food, Clothe, Shelter & Governance are the basics of it. Religion plays a major role to achieve it. Individual practices his religious beliefs, more he thrives in education, health and mental health, marriage, family and organized life; less likely is he to be involved in crime, addiction, abuse or a host of other ills, a savage life as he was doing during the cave days. Religion helps us to transmit our values from one generation to another, and influences the way we interact with the natural environment. It teaches us how to see ourselves in light of the believe in God.
We are living in a time when sensitivities are at the surface, often vented with cutting words. Philosophically, you can believe anything, so long as you do not claim it to be true. Morally, you can practice anything, so long as you do not claim that it is a “better:” way. Religiously, you can hold to anything, so long as you do not bring Jesus Christ into it. If a spiritual idea is eastern, it is granted critical immunity; if western, it is thoroughly criticized. This, a journalist can walk into a church and mock its carryings on, but he or she dare not do the same if the ceremony is from the eastern fold. Such is the mood at the beginning of 21st century.
