NUC Disowns Open Varsity Programmes The National Universities Commission has distanced itself from the activities of the National Open University of Nigeria, saying that its programmes are not recognised by it.The NUC has also directed all universities in the country to halt the introduction of new programmes until the commission gives its approval to the already existing ones.
