Is Rap and Hip Hop, more like poetry than music?
I agree with the answer where she says: RAP = Rythm and poetry – rap tells a story – its verse – its emotional – it holds its own beat and rythm – much like good poetry does – poetry uses accents – much like music – it doesnt necessary have to rhyme as long as it flows and the ‘sounds’ of the words have similar accents and expressions.
