Is racial violence spreading in America?
With the “Jena 6” case making headlines in Louisiana, plus a new video that shows four black kids beating up a white kid surfacing, The Factor decided to examine racial violence. Dr. Alexander Hamilton, a civil rights attorney and Baptist minister came aboard to offer his opinion. “African Americans are not suggesting that anybody should be simply given a pass on committing crime and beating anybody up,” Hamilton said. “The civil rights movement was a movement about non-violence.” The Factor agreed, but pointed out that the media has been getting many of the facts wrong in the Jena 6 case. “It’s so hard to report on this accurately.
