Is RaceLegal.com tied to the San Diego Police Department or any other law enforcement agency?
No, we are not. The many police jurisdictions in San Diego County work independently of the RaceLegal.com program. Their job is to provide enforcement of the laws against illegal street racing, and ours is to provide a safer and sanctioned alternative. All of the police entities in San Diego County have been supportive of the RaceLegal.com as the legitimate alternative to illegal street racing. RaceLegal.com is proud to be associated with the SDPD as part of the “Code Four Racing Program” where our racers have the opportunity to compete against an off-duty police officer.
