Over the years the number of development projects in Oman has increased tremendously, thus necessitating the increased need for professional quantity surveyors. For a period this industry was limited to a very few professional companies, but now with the increase in development activities within the sultanate, and the global economic downturn, we have seen more companies establishing themselves in Oman. In the past, sourcing competent employees for Oman was a difficult task due to the extravagant packages paid in several other countries.
