Is qigong a religious practice?

0

Qigong is not affiliated with any religious beliefs or systems, nor does it conflict with one’s religious beliefs. Chinese medicine holds that each person has or is comprised of “three treasures.” These are the mind, body, and spirit. Some qigong exercises, meditations and visualizations involve connecting with one’s spirit or true self to help accelerate the healing process. Others involve connecting with one’s spirit to help cultivate a greater sense of inner peace and tranquility. The beauty of qigong practice is that it can be molded to incorporate one’s particular spiritual or religious beliefs, but only if desired.
