Is Pure Anada natural mascara vegan?

0

Because of the ingredient “Shellac”, our mascara is not vegan. Shellac is produced by an insect (similar to beeswax). This ingredient mimics synthetic polymers. We chose shellac because it is “natural” or from nature. Pure Anada natural mascara is 97% natural. What does this mean? Why not make it 100% natural? To us, natural means “from nature”. The last 3 ingredients in our formula are not grown or harvested from nature in any way. They are necessary ingredients to the success of our formula, and do not pose any health risks.
