Technically, yes, if you go ahead and download and play free PSP games and listen PSP music. However, if you use these free games to “test” out the games for the sake of whether you buy it or not, it’s not really illegal. The homebrew PSP software that you can use thanks to the community once you complete a PSP slim hack is not illegal, however. Just the free games you can download and play. It’s important to note, however, that you’re not really taking the food off of anyone’s plates or hurting the people who make the games in any way. Sony and the companies that make the PSP games make plenty of money as it is, so there’s no need to really worry about that whatsoever. Everyone gets paid, regardless.
