Oh I’m so sorry to hear that. No, it’s not a narcotic according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provigil which specifically says it is “currently classified as a non-narcotic Schedule IV controlled substance under United States federal law” http://www.drugs.com/cdi/provigil.html also verifies that… there is no narcotics in it. It also has a very good listing of the benefits and side effects, so I’d take a good look over the list just to be on the safe side. Good luck and I hope I helped!
