Is Provider Enrollment the same as Web Registration?
No however Web Registration has now been incorporated into the Provider Enrollment function, which can be accessed by clicking on the Provider Enrollment link in the left navigation pane. Thus, when a provider is enrolling in one (or more) of the OWCP programs for the first time, he will also be prompted to register for the web portal. The required questions on each page must be completed in order to fulfill the enrollment and registration process. As part of this process, the provider will be asked to create a unique user ID that will be used when signing on to the portal. Assuming all of the application data is valid, clicking the “Submit” button on the “Provider Enrollment – Statement” page will process the request and immediately generate a provider number and confirm the providers user ID.
