Is propranolol a wonder drug or harmful?
Propranolol is a beta blocker. It helps keep a person from getting too emotional ( a side effect ). It is made to control blood pressure. However if you stop taking it the effects will stop. It does not stay in the body for long. It sounds like you have some serious effects from the bullying. I feel great empathy for you as I was bullied at times in my life and it makes me mad now to think about it. And being bullied and under stress for so long with definitely numb your emotions and cause flash backs. Whatever you want to call it you need to start working on your emotions with a coach or counselor. Try to find ways to get back to a more peaceful feeling within yourself. Good luck to you.
