Is “Property Locator” a legit job/position in the real estate industry?
“Bird Dogs”, as they are also known, can earn a respectable living by hunting down property for real estate investors. Be advised that most sophisticated investors will usually commission a licensed Realtor to perform these services. That does not mean that an unlicensed Property Locator can perform many of the same functions, but they will not have access to regional MLS services and other critical data that Realtors might have at their disposal.
