A. There is no required training after the initial GPC certification class, which includes ethics training IAW the Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) part 13.9004. The Defense Supply Service Acquisition Guide (dtd 29 OCT 98), paragraph 8-5.b., highly recommends that cardholders, approving officials, and certifying officials attend a purchase card training class every two years to keep abreast of program changes.
