Is Price Labelling in stores a Contract Law?????

No, a price tag is an ‘invitation to treat’ i.e. basically the shop is saying ‘make me an offer’ when they put a price tag on an item, but they are not legally bound to sell the item at the listed price, as there is no contract. Basically, putting a price tag on an item does not necessarily mean the shop has agreed to enter a contract with the customer. If the customer and shop can not agree on a price for the item, there has been no ‘consensus in idem’ (meeting of minds), and therefore no contract or legal bounds have been formed.
