Is potassium or salt better for my water softener?

0

It doesn’t have to do with what is better for the water softener it has to do with your body. Salt is just that. It is salt and it softens your water and gives you a bit of salt when you drink your water. Potassium does the same with softening your water but it quote on quote is better for your health because you are getting potassium into your diet. Well in actuality the amount that you are probably are getting is so low it isn’t doing anything for you anyways. So just buy some salt for your softener and if you think you need potassium buy some bananas. Salt tends to work a lot better than potasium at sofeting water and since that is what you are trying to do stick with the tried and true method wich is salt.
