The last decade has seen the emergence of the ‘Positive Thinking’ movement, which tells happiness-seekers to focus only on the good and block out the bad. But, according to Dr Srikumar Rao, favorite work-place happiness guru of the Ivy League, this method is misguided. Rao, who was in Mumbai recently for the launch of his new book, Happiness at Work, holds a PhD in Marketing from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University and an MBA from IIM – Ahmedabad.
