is population growth the worlds biggest problem?

0

It is the root of the problems we have and will have in future. Earth can only produce enough resources to keep everybody comfortable and ‘middle class’ for like 500 million people. As it stands there is nearly 7 billion with nearly 2 billion hungry, millions dying from lack of food and clean water, and of course other things like Peak Oil and the threat to everything else. If we could stop popping out so many babies for 20 years, and let Nature take her course with death rates, earth’s population would drop nicely to a point where many of the stressors we face now would be far less. IF we took it a step further and forbid any more babies from being born for 20 years, and after that time allotting one child per person who is 30 years and younger, Earth’s population would reach 1 billion in a generation. 1 billion people is a lot of people, and the earth along with our knowledge and technology can keep 1 billion comfortable.
