Is pilates enough to assist weight loss alongside Slimming World?
i have lost 4st 8lbs and havent exercised once i am a member of slimming world and go every week you will neva look back if you food optimised 100% you will have good weight losses you can eat loads of food unlimited foods you will neva be hungry all you need to do is a 20 min walk each day (body magic) the gym is too costley a dvd to do at home is a good idea if you realy want to exercise but make sure its a short one long running ones can get boring.good luck you will get lots of support at slimming world and inspiration from other members in your group and it will not feel like you are on a diet.i done it so can you.
It will definitely help. I’m in a similar position to you and I’ve also taken up Pilates and I alternate it during the week with aerobic exercise like DVDs/dance games(you could just dance around the living room for 15 minutes)/cycling/brisk walk with the pram. This is what I did to lose weight before and it’s what I’m doing now to lose my post-baby weight. The change to your diet will help you lose weight anyway although don’t expect dramatic weight loss each week. Think of it as a gradual change because you want to establish good eating habits that will last a lifetime.
