Is photon massless or virtually massless?

it’s massless, it’s made of energy. Pure energy! Oh, and things that take up space have spin 1/2 or some multiple of that spin. Things that don’t like photons have spin 1. So that really doesn’t have to do with mass, because some particles with spin 1 have mass, but don’t take up space.
