Is PhotoMax a scam or a good opportunity for my mother?
I realize this is kind of an old conversation but I thought you might be interested: I am a Photomax distributor. And I agree with your opinions about MLMs and Photomax in general. I believe you did get some misinformation, though. I am a distributor and an active customer of Photomax, and I don’t have to pay $45 a month for anything. There are several products that have a monthly fee, but you don’t HAVE TO buy them. And I’d be interested to know if you searched it thoroughly enough. Because if you do, you’ll find that other companies, like snapfish, will delete your online content if you DON’T buy products every year! Or every 6 months! Photomax will not do that. Obviously it costs money to get their service, but you have a lot of options, nothing that you HAVE TO DO. But on the whole MLM subject…yes it is very similar to a pyramid scheme…in fact it’s dangerously close! And the promises they make to you concerning how much money you’ll make…well they’re just words. I know…I’m
