Is phase change material reworkable ?
If the phase change temperature has not been reached, then the phase change material can be exchanged without any problem (if needed at all since the material remains ready to be used). If the phase change temperature of CRAYOTHERM® has been exceeded once then it has wetout the contact surfaces and holds there. If slightly warmedup, the components can be detached from one another and the rests of the phase change material can be cleaned away with isopropyl alcohol before placing the new phase change material.
