Is Persuasion the sequel to Pride and Prejudice?
Persuasion is another novel by Jane Austen, but it is not the sequel to Pride and Prejudice (there isn’t a sequel to Pride and Prejudice). It’s actually a really good novel, and it focuses on the relationship between a man and a woman who were in love when they were younger and then separated because of family reasons. They then meet again years later and it seems that their feelings for each other have not altered over the years. Some scholars have suggested that it is the most autobiographical novel that Austen wrote. Definitely worth reading!
