DMV uses a combination of advanced security technologies to ensure that the data we collect and store is kept secure. Information you send to DMV is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) before it is sent over the Internet. We do not store your detailed credit card information after the transaction is processed. We do retain the last 4 digits of your credit card number for auditing purposes and for printing on your receipt.
