“Dutch Country” in Lancaster County PA is about 65 miles or 1 1/2 hours drive west of Washington Crossing PA at the south end of Lower Delaware Scenic Wild & Scenic River. A direct route to “Dutch” (actually, German) country would be to take Interstate 95 south about 5 miles to Route 1 south for about 8 miles, then Interstate 276/76/the Pennsylvania Turnpike (toll) about 50 to 65 miles west depending on where you begin your tour.
