Is pedisure a substitute for food,?
Pediasure is not a substitute for food, but an addition. Your doctor might have you give your son some Pediasure as an addition to his diet for extra calcium or vitamins. Or you could take it with you on a trip or when you aren’t at home to prepare a full meal. But it’s not good for every meal every day. Too many calories. You can’t let your son dictate his diet. Just because he prefers milk does not mean you should give it to him. Too much of any one food is bad for him. He needs a rounded diet. And he needs to start eating solid food. He’s probably getting teeth or has one or two by now. Too much milk is bad for his teeth because of the sugars. Talk to your doctor if he can’t adjust and won’t eat. By I have a feeling he will. He may not like it at first, but when he gets hungry, he’ll eat whatever you give him.
