Is Paxil dangerous?
I’ve been on Paxil for over 10 years. I WAS clinically depressed, and now I lead a normal life. It’s been known to give younger patients thoughts of committing suicide. When it comes to Prozac, Zoloft, or Paxil, (and there are other new ones,) the doctor should always remind the patient, (especially if the patient is under 30) that if s/he ever has feelings of suicide to call the doctor immediately, or call the Suicide Hotline: l-800–333-4444. Remember, suicide is the most selfish thing you can do. It’s ruins the lives of the people who love you FOREVER. And whether you’re religious or not, it’s a sin, which is pretty scary!
