• Yes, it is helpful. We look for patterns, especially near suspected turning points. If the market blows through the pivot, then we expect it to pull back to it and retest it from the other side. Volatile days like FOMC days or major reports may create these super trend days with a wider than normal range. Then another master pivot will come into play.
