Speaker: Ms Ong Swee Hong Swee Hong is a Lecturer of Environmental Design in Temasek Polytechnic where she inspires her students on good lighting design practices. Swee Hong graduated from the National University of Singapore, with a Master of Arts (Architecture) degree, majoring in studies on urban lighting, master planning and human visual perception of one’s environment, Prior to her Masters education, she was working in Lighting Planners Associates Inc (LPA), Singapore, where she was given the opportunity to work on several high-profile projects, like Urban Lighting Master planning of Singapore City Center, commissioned by Singapore’s Urban Renewal Authority. She is still trying to keep herself updated professionally and she aspires to increase local awareness on lighting design excellence through workshops and seminars collaborated with industry
