Is participation in the myNotebook program mandatory?
Participation in the myNotebook program is optional. However, in order to satisfy the W&M notebook requirement, students are required to have a laptop with comparable specifications. Because of the many benefits of the myNotebook program, including faster repair time, four year warranty and insurance, and value, we hope that most students will want to take advantage of the program to fulfill the College’s notebook requirement. Unfortunately, Information Technology at W&M is not able to provide the same high-quality hardware repairs and service for computers not purchased through the myNotebook program.
