If you have one dancer doing one group number………… Choreography fee: $116.60.40 Costume fee: average $120.00 (Competition costumes are often more elaborate and expensive than showcase) Entry fees for three competitions: $83.00 (based on last year’s entry fees) Traveling expenses: average of $300.00 (one night accomodation + food and gas) ………………that’s about $600.00. Parents also need to take into account, not all competitions will fall on a weekend. This may mean taking a day off of work and your child missing school.
