It is not possible to train for the DRANZCOG Advanced on a part-time basis as the trainee has to complete the DRANZCOG in the first six months and then attain the necessary additional experience in the following six months. Such part-time work would not be acceptable to a hospital.The only way in which this may work would be if the trainee was to job share. The onus would be on the trainee to make sure that the contract holds and that the hospital is covered all the time.
