As of this writing (January, 2006) parking at all of the beaches outside of Pacific Rim National Park is free. Tofino is possibly planning on implementing pay parking at some of the beaches around the district. The park charges by the hour, day or season. You can buy hourly and daily passes at the pay machines located in the park’s parking lots.
