I have been a huge horror fan for 20 years so it takes a lot to scare me. Paranormal Activity is over hyped. My main problem with it was that the two characters were so annoying and unlikable that I didn’t care anything about them and if anything was scary, my hate for them distracted me from it.I wanted the ghost to grab the boyfriend by the ankles and beat the ***** to death with him. It does make an attempt to build suspense, but it fell flat, IMO.
