Is PALS an “eclectic” or a “traditional” EIBT program?
Many agencies describe themselves as providing an “eclectic” program, based on a broad range of intervention models. Too often, agencies that tout an eclectic model do so: 1) in response to fad treatments; 2) because they do not have the professional or educational experience to provide a high quality, empirically proven EIBT program. “Traditional” EIBT programs offer a highly flexible and broad range of services, but do not offer scientifically unproven program components.
