Is PAL , SECAM and NTSC digital?

0

NTSC, PAL and SECAM are analog standards, they don’t go HD. The countries using them abandon them for one of the digital standards. It’s like trading in your old car for a new one. This is a rule of thumb and is not true for all countries, but for most. The countries that used NTSC moved on to ATSC. The countries that used PAL or SECAM moved on to DVB-T. The old analog standards are still around for legacy support (old dvds, old cameras, old video games, etc.). So they didn’t change, but the new sets can do both the older analog stuff and the newer digital stuff. I would assume, in a few years, the analog support will go away.
