Is Ozone safe for commercial & industrial equipment Usage?
Yes, ozone is safe for equipment except natural latex rubber. Natural latex rubber will disintegrate in the presence of aqueous ozone over 1.0 PPM and gaseous ozone over 0.5 PPM over time. However, all other materials (SS, plastic [including PVC], concrete, wood, painted surfaces, etc.) found in food processing plants are unaffected by either gaseous or aqueous ozone at levels necessary to provide adequate sanitation.
