Is OutLast™ Long-Lasting Hand Sanitizer active against, flu, H1N1 (swine flu) or MRSA?
No hand sanitizer is indicated for the prevention of flu, H1N1, or MRSA. However, one of the ways to protect yourself from germs is to practice good hand hygiene. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advises people to stay healthy by: Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, and throwing the tissue in the trash after you use it. Washing your hands frequently with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available. Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth – because this is often how germs are spread. Staying home if you are sick and limiting contact with others.
