Is ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST a good source of chromium?
In relevant literature and in the press brewers yeast is occasionally described as a good source of chromium. However, this is not factually correct according to the information at our disposal. At least not if the reference is to pure brewers yeast without further additives, as is the case with our ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST tablets and our ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST flakes. As a matter of fact, chromium is contained in our ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST tablets and flakes. However, the chromium concentration is so low that it cannot make a significant contribution to nutrition. For this reason chromium is not specified on our ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST pack as being of nutritional value.
