Is Organisational Theory Important from an EA Perspective?

I have spent the last weeks writing about EA and ITG based on my interviews with IBM, Gartner Group and the book “IT Governance” by Ross & Weill. The more I write, the more I come to the conclusion that governance has a lot to do with organising that is to bring continuality into your EA you need to formally organise your EA. Therefore, I plan to read more about this subject area “organisational theory”. Please feel free to recommend any literature that deals with organisational theory from an IT governance perspective. Tomorrow, I have my second interview with ATP. I am really looking forward to meeting those guys again. I believe that ATP is working on some really interesting projects that are of high value to my thesis and I look forward to discuss how they plan to integrate ITG and EA and implement it in their organisation.
