Oracle announced their Network Computer Architecture (NCA) to position themselves as THE internet solutions company (and possibly a Microsoft ActiveX buster). Oracle’s NCA focus around the Application/WebServer middleware components, and will integrate CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) components into Oracle’s core Application, Database and WebServers.
