Is O&O Defrag compatible with a version of Windows XP running Service Pack 2?
O&O Defrag takes advantage of the TCP/IP protocol for communication between individual parts of the program’s operation. The integrated firewall in Service Pack 2 (SP2) can, among other things, hinder this communication. If you are using O&O Defrag Professional Edition locally and have SP2 installed with its default settings, no operation issues or problems should arise.
