In some cases, it may actually be safer than using your credit card at some traditional retail locations where the clerk has access to your card and personal information. Whether shopping online or in person, remember to be cautious about providing personal information during transactions. Don’t provide your credit or debit information to anyone whom you feel questionable about. And avoid shopping online on an unsecure wireless network.
