The quality of online education varies as much as that of on-campus education. Quality ranges from truly exceptional to totally inadequate – as does the quality of degree programs offered via traditional classrooms on college campuses. Neither format is inherently better. No substitute exists for careful evaluation of the curriculum, faculty, program design, and track record of each program.
