It is better to walk away from one sided love and find mutual love then to waste your precious time.

one sided love is a waste of time because neither one is getting the love they want… its better to want the happiness of the other and let them go…it IS better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

It depends on your expectations… If you do all the giving without expecting the other person to reciprocate, then you won’t be disappointed–you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you gave unconditionally (and may receive satisfaction from a Higher source than the one you are expressing love to). However, if you are expecting the other person to reciprocate–whether now or even 20 years from now–and they never do, you will only experience hurt, rejection, depression, and remorse.
